Glastonbury, England, home to the ruins of the Glastonbury Abbey. From at least the 12th century the Glastonbury area was frequently associated with the legend of King Arthur, a connection promoted by medieval monks who asserted that Glastonbury was Avalon. King Arthur is a legendary British leader of the late 5th & early 6th centuries who, according to medieval histories & romances, led the defence of Britain against Saxon invaders in the early 6th century.

Happily Ever After in Belvoir Castle

Belvoir Castle Leicestershire, England. Hugh Bigod, 1st Earl of Norfolk (1095–1177) was born at Belvoir Castle and constable. He was the second son of Roger Bigod (d. 1107), Sheriff of Norfolk, who founded the Bigod name in England. Da Vinci Code was filmed here among many other movies. Roger is generation 27 on family tree.
