Faux granite countertops! Kitchen Remodel for less than $50. I spray painted the back splash with silver. I used acrylic paint, a sea sponge, and sand glitter for the counters. I used Envirotex Lite for the final resin/epoxy coat. I used General Finishes Java Gel Stain for the cabinets. Very pleased! #granite #countertops
"Krylon Glowz. Glow-in-the-dark paint that recharges with exposure to light." I want to try a paint like this on smooth, large river rocks to create a "lighted" pathway in my garden, highlight landscaping features. I am also playing with the idea of painting recycled bottles and hang them along my fence. Free lights, if it works as promised :-)
Rust-Oleum Appliance Epoxy https://www.rustoleum.com/product-catalog/consumer-brands/specialty/appliance-epoxy-spray/ I wish there was a low-VOC version - I'd love to turn our dirty white trash can into a grunge-hiding BLACK trash can.
Rust-Oleum's Enamel Epoxy Paint...I am not sure I am willing to do this myself - but wish someone else would do it for me :) Good compromise for my desire to have colored washer/dryer - which just seems silly in itself!
DIY tiered wooden and metal tray: two wooden and metal trays, Gorilla Glue Epoxy, candlestick, and two round, wooden bases. For the top: small finial wooden candlestick, Krylon, satin finish spray paint... Painted each individual piece, allowed them to dry. Finally, glue it all together with the epoxy and allow it at least 24 hours to dry.
