Probably the most famous photo of the legendary racehorse Seabiscuit, beating "the fastest horse in the world" War Admiral at Pimlico, November 1st, 1938. Both horse and jockey George Woolf gaze right into the camera while all else is a blur. I love this photo.
Sham, the second fastest ever. An amazing race horse without any credit. He ran the second fastest Derby and Preakness ever, behind the fastest horse in the world, Secretariat. If Secretariat hadn't been in the picture, Sham would be considered the greatest race horse that ever lived. Instead, Secretariat took that title.
When people talk about the fastest horses on earth, sooner or later Streakin Six always enters the conversation. Streakin Six was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2011. Learn more about the AQHA Hall of Fame inductees at http://aqha.com/en/Foundation/Museum/Hall-of-Fame/Hall-of-Fame-Inductees.aspx
