Helena Bonham Carter as Marla Singer / Fight Club / Fun fact: the flower ring that Helena is wearing throughout the movie is a box ring. According to the actress in the DVD commentary it is supposed to be Marla's "coke [cocaine] ring".
In the world I see - you are stalking elk through the damp canyon forests around the ruins of Rockefeller Center. You'll wear leather clothes that will last you the rest of your life. You'll climb the wrist-thick kudzu vines that wrap the Sears Tower. And when you look down, you'll see tiny figures pounding corn, laying strips of venison on the empty car pool lane of some abandoned superhighway.
Fight Club. Directed by David Fincher. Gritty, mean, unabashedly amusing, and unapologetic. That is how Palahniuk paints his characters, and that is how Fincher kept true to it (with his own personal stamp of course). One of my most favorite movies of all time. A cult-favorite.
