This is exactly why I love going to public sessions and practicing then. 1. A majority of the time when I go the ice is not that full. 2. It's cheaper to do 2 hours of public skate than 2 hours during a freestyle session. 3. I love inspiring little kids. At least twice a month someone comes up to me and says how do you do that or can you teach me to do that? It makes me feel like people appreciate the art of figure skating, and not a lot of people do so genuinely, I do a little happy dance…
