Finding Forrester (2000) -- My favorite film of all time hands down. It's cinematic perfection. Mike Rich's script is humbling in its brilliance, and Gus Van Sant proves that he's not just an "action" director. Combine that with the mind-blowing performance of Rob Brown, who at the time was an UNKNOWN with no formal training; Sean Connery at his best, F. Murray Abraham expertly playing a despicable foil, I could go on and on. SEE it!
"Losing family obliges us to find our family. Not always the family that is our blood, but the family that can become our blood". But when I read these words...words of hope, dreams...I realized that the one wish that was granted to me, so late in life was the gift of friendship.
