L'Auberge de Sedona is a small hotel with a few "cabins" on the edge of Oak Creek. We stayed here in February a few years ago and it was one of the nicest places we've ever been to. Sedona has the most beautiful sunsets I've ever seen and the Grand Canyon is only about two hours away. Hiking through the Red Rock Park makes you feel like you're on another planet.

7 Amazing Places To Stay Overnight In Arizona Without Breaking The Bank
Painted Desert; Flagstaff, Arizona ~ We only saw the painted desert from afar during a trip to Flagstaff. I had to have been a preteen when my parents, siblings, and I had made the trip. It was then that we first learned of the severity of Momma's heart condition. The trip was cut short once Mom's blood pressure was under control. I long to return to see the beautiful sites and city.
