Folland Gnat Mk.1. First inducted in 1958, the Folland Gnat was to become a legend after its debut in the India-Pakistan War. The Gnat was produced in numbers by HAL, and a subsequent version of it was upgraded and christened the Ajeet.  The Gnat flew with Nos 23, 2, 9, 18, 21, 22, 24 Squadrons.
