Karen Rapp is vice president and chief information officer at Freescale Semiconductor. She is responsible for Freescale worldwide IT strategy, development and infrastructure with a focus on business outcomes and driving efficient and effective business processes. In July 2004, Motorola spun off its semiconductor segment, creating Freescale Semiconductor, headquartered in Austin, Texas. Rapp was a key member of the separation team.
