Tom Beach Hotel. St Barthelemy, French West Indies. Most everything sounds better in French. St. Barth is good, Saint-Barthélemy is better. Tom Beach Hotel sounds interesting, but Le Tom Beach sounds downright glamorous. And it is, if cool white decor and the warm blue Caribbean and a party-all-night atmosphere — the kind with DJs on the turntables, free-flowing tropical cocktails, and fire-eaters dancing in the sand — are your thing.

Most everything sounds better in French. Barth is good, Saint-Barthélemy is better. Tom Beach Hotel sounds interesting, but Le Tom Beach sounds downright.
