One rotten tomato later we have a million fruit flies. I tried a sticky fly trap from the store and that didn't do anything. So I read some articles that talked about a home made fly trap, and it's really working! It is just a paper funnel in a jar ( or gatorade bottle) with a piece of fruit inside. Side note, fruit flies will lay eggs in your drains, so put something (more paper) over all your drains.
