martine wright, a truly inspiring woman. she survived the 7/7 bombings, losing both of her legs, and has since gone on to represent team gb at sitting volleyball in the london 2012 olympic games. despite being one of the most serverly injured survivors, martine classes herself as lucky to be alive, and last night at the bbc sports personality of the year awards, received the helen rollason award for outstanding achievement in the face of adversity, dedicating her win to the 52 victims.
