Ancient Croc Named After 'Lord of the Rings' Monster

Scientists have discovered a new type of extinct croc in South America. At 16 feet (4.8 meters) long and 900 lbs. (408 kilograms), it ate turtles and battled with monster snakes.


This guy is just diving around, minding his own business when he happens across this very large anaconda. There must be something in that Amazonian water to make these beasts so large.
