For mother--- Gluten free flour mix: 1 C white rice flour, 1 C oat flour, 1 C coconut flour, 1 C tapioca flour/starch, C cornstarch, 3 tsp. xantham gum. Combine / mix well all ingredients, store in an airtight container. Use as flour in any baking recipe.
After trying one homemade version after another, we finally settled on this gluten-free flour because it has been the best, closest to the real thing, affordable, and has worked beautifully in any recipe that has required flour and used this as the replacement! So awesome to have found this!
3 c each brown rice flour and tapioca starch, 2 c sorghum flour, 1 c coconut flour == combine flours - store in a large airtight container - - add xanthan gum to your dry ingredients, not to the flour mix (1/4 t - 1 t per cup of flour depending on what you are making) - use cup for cup (a little additional liquid may be necessary in recipes due to the absorbency of the coconut flour)
