This 1974 Datsun 610 has been thoroughly upgraded with a fresh Ermish-built turbo-charged engine, all new suspension, driveline, wheel & tire package, and a thorough sorting. It has been at Ermish Racing, an excellent Datsun specialty shop, for over a year and the seller says that $15k was spent. The car now boasts 300 horsepower at the wheels (!), with components worthy of the rarity and condition of the body shell. Available in San Marcos, CA for $25,000.
Just down the road from the schoolhouse in the last picture is Benedict's Nursery, a family owned and run business that is the source of many unusual plants, including alpines and specialty rock garden plants as well as planted troughs. We attended a workshop there a few years ago to make hypertufa planters. Esther, who runs the place, had made these planters from old work shoes.
