"Flying thousands of miles away from home and moving to a new state is one great roller coaster ride. It will bring you out of your comfort zone and scare you. The unknown will make you anxious and nervous and make your stomach do flip flops. Wonderful new experiences will excite and exhilarate you."
I’ve Found That Growing up Means (Live Life Happy)
It's hard to think about growing up when you're right in the middle of doing it. It's hard to know what you want. Sometimes there are so many voices in your head it difficult to know which of them is yours. - Kevin Brooks
Studying is, unfortunately, a major part of being a studentm, and thus, growing up. We can complain about it all we want, but it will still be there as an unpleasant task we need to get through. Look, I get it! School days are tough, and after eight hours of learning and doing work and taking notes, the last thing you want to do is more of that at home. As a student, I found every excuse for not studying, and believe it or not, it wasn’t helpful!
It happens to everyone as they grow up. You find out who you are and what you want, and then you realize that people you've known forever don't see things the way you do. And so you keep the wonderful memories, but find yourself moving on.
TTC tips: For me there is something deeply comforting about this quote. It speaks of growing up, of awareness, of becoming tired of the dramas that we create in our lives, and about finally saying enough is enough and walking away from them. Have a think about where you create drama to your life right now as you TTC.
