Gummy Bear Layer Cake I would give it a 6/10, because it didn't blow me away, and I didn't find any complex flavors in it, but it's a good basic recipe if you're just looking for medium-flavored chocolate cake and buttercream. The sweetness of the gummy bears did pair well with this buttercream. I used powdered evaporated cane juice sugar for the frosting, and plain white confectioner’s sugar would’ve been better.
