Born in 1931, Hal Linden grew up in The Bronx to become one of the best known actors in the country. Few know that he also appeared in musicals on Broadway and has a pleasing singing voice. For instance, he starred in “The Rothschilds.” He is better known for his television comedies, especially for the series, Barney Miller, set in a police precinct.
Jack Soo (October 28, 1917 – January 11, 1979) was a Japanese American actor, best known for his role as Detective Nick Yemana on the television sitcom Barney Miller.Jack Soo was born Goro Suzuki on a ship traveling from the U.S. to Japan in 1917.
