Our space-saving washbasin installed above a washing machine. A piece of warning here, this customer's installation breaks electrical safety regulations (washing machine should not be installed so close to the bathtub), so the user will have to verify that the washer is fully disconnected beforeusing the bathtub. There was not much choice in this case: it was either this, or hand-washing the baby's clothes !
Today’s washers have so many laundry settings, it can seem like it’s easier to pilot a space shuttle than to do a load of darks. Here’s a primer for what all those washing machine cycles really mean, including delicate/hand wash, rapid/speed wash, permanent press/wrinkle shield, bulky, sheets, whites and rinse and spin are explained. Check out the Sears Home Services Knowledge Center for more washer and dryer settings explained.
Hand washing is an effective way to avoid contracting germs and bacteria. Thoroughly washing hands before preparing meals and after can help prevent food borne illnesses. Hand washing after playing outside, using the restroom, and sneezing may not only prevent you from getting the disease but it is effective in preventing the spread of disease to others.
