Heroes by David Bowie is a personal illustration project. When I used to listen to David Bowie's Heroes some images would come to my mind and I thought It would be a nice idea to draw them in a sketchbook that people could look at while they are listening to the song. They are more than fifty drawings and there is no connection between most of them.

David Bowie - Heroes ~~~I, I can remember (I remember) Standing, by the wall (by the wall) And the guns, shot above our heads (over our heads) And we kissed, as though nothing could fall (nothing could fall) And the shame, was on the other side Oh we can beat them, for ever and ever Then we could be heroes, just for one day

The lightning bolt represented the duality of the mind, although Bowie later explained that the "lad insane" of the album's title track was inspired by his brother Terry, who was diagnosed as a schizophrenic.
