Moro (Philippine, Mindanao) mail and plate armor, 19th century, brass, carabao horn (Philippine buffalo), silver, protection for the upper part of the body, exclusive to the Moro as it was not found among any other Philippine groups. This armor known as kurab-a-kulang is made of a thin layer of carabao horn, joined with butted brass mail.The front part is closed with wrought hooks, Higgins Armory Museum.
