Dumplings for Soup or with Kraut 2 cups flour 1 tsp. salt 4 tsp. baking powder 1 beaten egg 3 T. melted butter 2/3 cup milk 1/4 tsp pepper Mix together. Boil, covered for about 20 minutes or until done.
Drop Dumplings from scratch. Super easy and delicious! Great for Scotch Collops. -- 2 C Flour; 1.5 tsp Salt; 1 Tbsp Baking Powder; 2 Tbsp Veg. oil; 1 C lukewarm Water. Add dry ingredients together well. add oil and mix with a fork. add water to desired consistency. Drop by spoonful of dumpling onto broth or stew and let steam for 4 minutes.
