Howard Johnson's. Great ice cream! And Fish Frys on Friday!
Howard Johnson Motor Lodge, 1960s. Another example of striking roadside architecture we'll probably never be lucky enough to see again. We spent our wedding night at a Howard Johnson's fifty years ago.

We would stay at Howard Johnson's while traveling and our favorite thing to get at the restaurant was fried clams- circa 1960s
Howard Johnson's brand sodas. I only recently found out this existed. Looks like the old pull tab cans, too.

Hojo Anaheim is closer to the parks than the Disneyland Hotel and much less expensive, plus they have their own splash park. An 8 minute walk from the Disney park gates.
