Someone is murdered on the cruise ship you're on. Passengers are told to lock themselves in their cabins and await instructions. The captain speaks from the ships PA system, "The first contestant has fallen. Only 5,132 remain." With that, the doors all click and swing open.
I know this is supposed to be a joke, but I hate when people do this. I mean Peeta risked his life for Katniss, not just physically but mentally. They tortured him, and yet he didn't break. In the games he betrayed her to save her. I mean come on!. They stabbed his leg because he helped Katniss in the end. Let's not forget in the end of the first movie, he actually DID have feelings for Katniss. So he would've been willing to take those berries without a second thought.
Movies Based on Books 2017 -- I always find that the best movies are based on books. I mean, it must be a great story to be made into a movie, right? Okay, the books are usually better but it's so much fun to give it the benefit of the doubt. Some movies can really surprise you, like The BFG and The Hunger Games. It's a new year and that means lots of new movies to watch and books to read. Here's a list of books to read before you watch the movie.
Wasn't overly fussed the first time I watched The Hunger Games, but after watching it again, it was a very meaningful and well-made film, very entertaining and thought-provoking, but the ending was a little forced upon us. 8/10.
