Temple Of The Dog - Hunger Strike - I have always loved the fact that a branch was extended to Eddie when Chris and the remaining members of MLB used Temple as a tribute to Andy. Who knew two amazing voices would come together and be so heartfelt? 20 years later still amazing!
'Temple of the Dog' was formed in Seattle in 1990 and conceived by vocalist Chris Cornell of 'Soundgarden' as a tribute to his friend, the late Andrew Wood, lead singer of Malfunkshun and Mother Love Bone. The line-up included former 'Pearl Jam' members with Eddie Vedder & Chris Cornell providing lead and backing vocals. The band released its only album, the self-titled Temple of the Dog, in April 1991.
