Aftermath - Twisted, broken, uprooted, and laid bare - a small oasis of trees along the shore of Honeymoon Island in Florida shows devastating erosion, in the aftermath of Hurricane Hermine which slammed into the gulf coast at the beginning of September, 2016. Wind and waves driven by the storm conspired to drastically change a newly refurbished beach, driving several feet of sand farther inland or elsewhere along the coast.
