Changeto things they can do at home when they have some down time. No more trying to think of things for them to do they can just look at this.

Modify for upper grades. Differentiation and extension for my smart pants kids. You could change to May Dos.

This is such a great way to tell students what they can do after they have finished an activity, without having to take time out of your lesson to remind them. Also, it lets you change what their options are every day or even after every subject.

I really like these finisher task cards. After students complete their work early classroom management can be tricky. These reminders give them ideas of what they can do to use that time wisely.

OK!  Best idea yet!  These are called "Fast Finishers".  When a student finishes early, they can look at the board and see what the "fast finisher" is for the day.  It can be a puzzle, reading a book, math games, etc.
