This is a light pasta dish with plenty of shrimp, garlic, and lemon. I have reduced the amount of lemon and salt from the original recipe to suit my DBFs tastes. The leftovers are just as good heated up in the microwave the next day.
Linguine with Shrimp Scampi : Ina cooks a pound of shrimp in garlic and butter so the shrimp really develop an intense flavor. Cook the pasta in the sauce for a few minutes so the pasta takes on some of the great flavor as well. A sprinkling of red pepper flakes at the end imparts a little bit of heat.
