Lakota Woman, Mary Ellen Brave Bird-Richard, known to millions simply as "Lakota Woman,' walked on last Thur, Feb 14, 2013 in Crystal Lake, Nev of natural causes. She was 58, 1954-2013. She was laid to rest at Clear Water Cemetery at Grass Mountain on Rosebud Indian Reservation. She became an American Indian activist, writer, & lecturer who inspired many during her lifetime.
