Know how to use your knives...I am so glad I have had chef training. Doesn't mean I get careless and sometimes don't rock the blade or use an inappropriate knife. I paid for it a few years ago and really cut my hand badly. KNOW YOUR KNIVES! And keep them sharpened...a dull knife is very dangerous.
