You need just the can holder (see top photos), a roasting or stewing chicken, a can of whatever beverage you like (beer, ginger ale, etc.), punch holes in the top, add garlic cloves, cover chicken with your favorite spice blend (cajun, bbq, curry, we used Watkins turkey rub plus some pepper and paprika) and throw in oven for a few hours (Or on the bbq grill) until the internal temp reaches 180F or 82C. This will be a moist, tender chicken…
