What is IGI? IGI stands for International Genealogical Index and was a database of indexed and contributed data. Approximately 460 million names in the IGI were from community extracted records that contained names, marriage, birth, and death dates. Bryan Chapell, Ph.D. is Senior Pastor of the historic Grace Presbyterian Church in Peoria, IL and President Emeritus of Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis, Missouri. Dr. Chapell is an internationally renowned preacher, teacher, and speaker, and the author of many books, including Christ-Centered Preaching, a preaching textbook now in multiple editions and many languages that has established him as one of this generation’s foremost teachers of homiletics.
J.D. Greear, (born May 1, 1973) is the Pastor at The Summit Church of Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina, a position he has held since January 2002. Before coming to work at the Summit he had worked with the International Mission Board. He entered the Ph.D. program at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in 1999, graduating in 2003 with a doctorate in Philosophy, concentrating primarily on Christian and Islamic theology.
