Italian Anise Soft Cookie: 3 eggs, 4 teaspoons baking powder, 2 teaspoons anise extract, 3/4 cup sugar, 4 cups flour, 3/4 cup vegetable oil, and 1/2 cup milk. Beat together 1st four ingredients. Add the vegetable oil and milk, then the flour, one cup at a time, until well combined. Pinch off walnut-sized pieces of dough, (flour your hands if dough is too sticky). Arrange 2 inches apart on parchment paper covered baking sheets. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes.
