James A. Michener was an American author of more than 40 titles, the majority of which were sweeping sagas, covering the lives of many generations in particular geographic locales and incorporating historical facts into the stories. Michener was known for the meticulous research behind his work.
Historical drama & story telling author James A. Michener could fill a personal library w/his works alone. Chesapeake, Centential, Poland, Mexico, Hawaii, Tales of the South Pacific, Caravans, Space, The Bridge at Andau, etc. If I had to choose a favorite: 'The Source' because it looks at humanity & religion.
