Jimi really should have been the first guitarist I pinned up here. If it weren't for him I'm not sure what the state of guitar would have been these days. He was a true artist and that shown through in his seemingly effortless playing and writing.


Jimi Hendrix is widely considered to be the greatest electric guitarist in music history and one of the most influential musicians of his era despite his mainstream exposure being limited to 4 years. He was born in Seattle, WA, in 1942. A memorial statue of Jimi playing a Stratocaster stands near the corner of Broadway and Pine Streets in Seattle.
