Without question, this is my favorite speech! I play it many times over and it never fails to lift me up! I made a career change in recent months and part of the motivation came from Jimmy "V"! I had the honor of working on some fundraising projects with Jim's wife, Pam, and daughter, Nicole, in North Carolina back in 1997 when his Foundation was in its infancy and I worked for the Carolina Hurricanes NHL team.
Jim Valvano (Jimmy V), a man who will always be remembered for the starting the Jimmy V Foundation and raising a lot of money for cancer research. In his words, if you laugh, cry, and think; you have lived a full day. #OneBraveThing
