Stop #10 is the John Hancock Center. Stop here to enjoy a view 1000 feet off the ground with sweeping panoramic views of Lake Michigan. The building itself was completed in 1969 by the same team that would later build the Sears Tower. It has a unique steel support system on the outside of the building which allows for large open, free column space in the interiors. It stands 1,127 feet tall, and is currently 4th tallest in Chicago.
Around sunset, head up to the Signature Lounge at the 96th in the Hancock. During the summer, you can catch the fireworks at Navy Pier as you get off the elevator. And the bathrooms have the best view!
