Classic Pecan Pie - this is the recipe I always used in the past off the Karo Syrup bottle. I hadn't made one in years, didn't have any Karo syrup, and googled it. Technology can be great! Plan on making it as one of my desserts for Thanksgiving.
Six Minute Caramels Ingredients 1/4 cup butter 1/2 cup white sugar 1/2 cup brown sugar 1/2 cup light Karo syrup 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk Directions: 1 Combine all ingredients. 2 Cook 6 minutes, stirring every two minutes. 3 Stir and pour into lightly greased dish. 4 Let cool. 5 Cut, wrap in wax paper & store in an air tight container.
This stuff is the BOMB!! Soft Caramel for Popcorn: 1c brown sugar, 1 stick butter, 1c karo syrup, 1 can condensed milk, I used 12T unpopped corn and 4T popping oil to make the popcorn then coated it with the caramel mix
My favorite Chex Mix EVER!!! Caramel Crispix: 2 small boxes of Crispix Cereal, 2 cups of butter, 2 cups of brown sugar, ½ cup Light Karo syrup, ½ tsp Vanilla, ½ tsp Baking Soda. Melt butter in a sauce pan. Add brown sugar and bring to a boil. Add Karo syrup, vanilla and baking soda. I put the cereal in a large bowl then pour mixture over the cereal. Yum!
Easy cornflake treats 1 c. sugar 1 c. Karo 1 1/2 c. peanut butter 6 c. corn flakes Cook sugar and Karo syrup in pan until well mixed. Mix peanut butter and corn flakes with sugar mixture. Put in 9x13 ungreased pan.

1 small box Golden Grahams, 1/2 box rice chex, 1/2 box corn chex, 2 cups slivered almonds, 1 1/2 cups coconut, 1/2 cup salted butter (1 stick) 1 cup light Karo syrup 1 cup sugar Mix dry ingredients. Heat last 3 on stove until bubbly (3 minutes) pour over dry ing. Adjust sugar for less sweet.
