Keith Moon Flint, MI 1967 © TOM WRIGHT The night of infamy in which The Who were banned from Holiday Inns FOREVER!!!! This was a show at the IMA I'm sure. That Holiday Inn was across the street and all the bands stayed there. I had a buddy who got a job there and he used to have me come down when the bands were hanging out. I wish I had taken pictures.

Keith Moon (died Sept. 7, 1978 at age 32) was best known as a member of the Who, but he was far more than that, even within the context of his role within the group. Moon, with his manic, lunatic side, and his life of excessive drinking, partying, and other indulgences, probably represented the youthful, zany side of rock & roll, as well as its self-destructive side, better than anyone else on the planet.
