Les Miserables - Marius and Cosette

Looking not so miserable, the cast of ‘Les Miserables’ posed for Vogue (8 photos)

Okay, nearly JUMPED OUT OF MY SKIN over this one. Omigoodness, look at the detail on her dress! Her hair is gorgeous. She doesn't look like a ditzy blonde, either--she looks appropriately grave over...something. Not sure when this scene takes place. And Marius!!!! They are going to be the best Marius and Cosette EVER. I'm having a very bad case of fangirling here....

I don't know how much I agree with this. While there is almost no connection between them in the musical, the Brick does little better. Eponine and Gavroche basically go their separate ways in Paris, and while I'm sure he regretted seeing her gunned down, I have a hard time imagining him wishing he could be holding her and comforting her in Marius' place.

Good one Victor Hugo. My copy says "Marius Becomes Practical Once More to the Extent of Giving Cosette His Address".
