THE LITTLE MERMAID, 1989. As a girl, I think this was my favourite (certainly Arial was my favourite princess!) Some of the songs are still Disney favourites of mine. No doubt this film influenced my future musical ventures and tastes.

When Walt Disney Pictures revived its full-length animated films, "The Little Mermaid" was its first project. Shown in 1989, I've watched this masterpiece of animation several times. I think I almost worn out its disc. :)
The penis on the original cover of the VHS release of "The Little Mermaid" was unintentional. According to the artist that drew it he was just in a hurry to finish and was neither disgruntled nor on the verge of being fired
One older edition of The Little Mermaid sold for $6,000 because it featured artwork that was later banned. One of the palace turrets on the VHS cover was considered inappropriate-looking, so the artwork was later redone.
