A Louis XVI Ormolu Mounted Carved Lapis Lazuli Tazza. The Lapis Lazuli, Italian, Late 16th or 17th Century, The Mounts Attributed to François Remond or Pierre-Philippe Thomire, Circa 1792. The circular lobed dish flanked by acanthus-wrapped and eagle-headed supports each issuing spirally-twisted tendrils and terminating in paired legs with hoof feet.
