This is a quote from anthropologist Margaret Mead. I want to be able to make a difference, both short term in my res hall and on my floor, but also in the future in my career, and this quote represents me trying to find a place and a way to make a difference.
Children must be taught how to think... New circumstances occur constantly and every eventuality cannot be covered, they have to know how to make decisions and how to research options. It can start as simple as holding out two vegetables and praising them for choosing the "right" one, then ask them how they came to their choice. There is no wrong answer so they learn confidence.
