Candied Yams with Marshmallows: Canned or peeled yams, 1/4c butter, 1/4-1/2c brown sugar, dash of cinnamon, mini marshmallows. 400 degrees for 20 minutes; longer for peeled yams. Add marshmallows on top 5-10 minutes before 'doneness.'
Sweet potato (yam) casserole -- sweet side for Thanksgiving! 1 (40 oz) can of Bruce’s cut yams, drained ½ cup brown sugar ½ teaspoon cinnamon ¼ teaspoon salt 1 egg, beaten 4 tablespoons melted butter 1 (16 oz) bag of miniature marshmallows
Marshmallow Yam Bake. For an extra sweet kick sprinkle 1/2 bag marshmallows on top. Place dish in oven for 25 minutes, being careful not to burn marshmallows. Stir in lightly browned marshmallows and return to oven for 25 minutes. Remove dish and cover again with remaining marshmallows.
