Mexican Picadillo-I use olive oil instead of canola & I also omit the tomatoes & use 1/2 cup tomato sauce. This is so good wrapped in a warm tortilla with fresh pico de gallo. I start with the oil, onion, bell pepper and garlic in a pan to soften then add my meat and seasonings.
