Ingredients for 6 servings 1 1/2 pound of thin cut top round beef steaks (6 steaks) 2 eggs 2 cups of bread crumbs or saltine crackers grinded into crumbs (see note) 2 garlic cloves chopped 1/2 teaspoon black peppercorns Vegetable oil for frying Salt to taste I did 2 servings with 2 steaks, 1 egg and almost 1 bag of saltines and powdered instead of fresh garlic. Liked the taste and texture.

Milanesa a la Napolitana... a beef cutlet, breaded and fried, then a slice (or two) of thin, salty prosciutto. A generous dressing of tangy tomato sauce. Topped with thick slices of Mozzarella. And the final touch--it's placed under the broiler until the cheese topping browns and bubbles.
