PRICHARD, Alabama -- A Prichard Police officer was arrested for alleged child abuse Friday. Bryan Pearman, 24, of Citronelle, was booked into the Mobile County jail on the charge of aggravated child abuse, according to jail records for the Mobile County Sheriff's Office. RENEE MICHELLE BERGERON. Almost 14 years ago, Renee Michelle Bergeron's tortured, decapitated body was found in a ditch in south Mobile County. Her head was found nearby the following day. The case eventually went cold and her killer remains unknown. Mobile County Sheriff Sam Cochran said last week that he believes the killer will one day be caught.
