Arthur (1981) Steve Gordon's comedy has aged sweetly. I still enjoyed it—it has some great lines, and first rate work from the three leads, Dudley Moore, John Gielgud and Liza Minnelli. Geraldine Chaplin and Anne De Salvo also stand out. A good airplane movie choice.

Charlie Hunnam doing his brooding King Arthur impression. Yup, works for me.

If you think about it, it’s odd that there isn’t one film that people can point to as the definitive King Arthur movie. Whichever version of the legend you relate to—be it Disney’s The Sword and the Stone or John Boorman’s knights-and-nudity classic Excalibur—depends primarily on when you were born.

Charlie Hunnam's King Arthur won't be a 'good guy' from the beginning
