Day 7: Nervous Conditions by Tsitsi Dangarembga. This is the first novel to introduce me to African Postcolonial literature. Dangarembga is the first African women to publish a novel in English, and her voice is clear and fresh in this book. I wrote my thesis partially on this book and frequently recommend it to others as a great introduction to Postcolonial African fiction.
Astragalus root is most popular for stimulating the immune system. People who frequently fall victim to colds and get respiratory infections are prime candidates for astragalus root. Astragalus has an anti-viral agent that helps the body destroy viruses and other harmful microbes. It has been used to treat colds, upper respiratory infections, cancer, asthma, and nervous conditions, as well as to lower blood sugar and blood pressure and boost energy levels.
