Church, architect Le Corbusier, Notre Dame in Ronchamp France, lovely light in there, have a look at the slit on top of the wall, the roof seem so be floating in the air. Worth taking your time so calculate some 2-3 hours for the visit. (photo taken August, 9th 2009 by Blume-Werry, Juergen)

Notre Dame

Notre Dame Cathedral - On the first Friday of every month at 3:00 in the afternoon at Notre Dame the Holy Crown of Thorns is displayed. There is a short service and then all who wish can approach the relic to view (or kiss, if you wish to). I attended last June; the service and procession took about two hours. It was unique and very moving.

Notre Dame de Paris- also known as the Notre Dame Cathedral, is a Roman Catholic Cathedral on the eastern half of the Île de la Cité. In the same spot where this cathedral now stands, the Romans built a temple to Jupiter, it was followed by a Christian basilica and then a Romanesque church.
